The wind was not my find today but I sill like this shot even if I didn’t frame it this way.
A friend of mine gave me a Nikon 35MM film camera sometime ago. Last year, before things got a little wiggy, I had purchased some out-of-date film at a local salvage grocery store. I set out to get some captures on film over a period of a few weeks but that stretched into a, oh six to seven months. Here a is some 35MM film.
After a very good day, and a lovely dinner and drive with The Bride, I wanted to post something but realized I have not shot anything for a couple of days. I was looking for something when I revisited my post Two To Compare where I used the two free photo-editing tools Perfect Effects 8 and Paint.NET. So in that vein, and since I had nothing new to bring to the table, I decided show you two unpublished shots from earlier this week. I played with Perfect Effects 8 on these two and I am really happy with the results. I took the top one with my Canon PowerShot S3is and the bottom with my Canon PowerShot SX10is (Click on photos to enlarge them……really they are pretty cool up close).
The last time I posted an Apple Blossom the bees had not shown up yet. They arrived mid-week and I have this capture to prove it 😉 There hopefully will bee more to come (both bees and pictures)!
I have been digging the wonderful sunshine since it finally showed up around here but today it took a half day off. I was hoping to get home and take pics of the bees in the apple tree. Seems they took off half the day as well…..the half I wanted to take pictures of them during! Oh well, this fellow decide to buck the trend and showed up for an evening fill up overcast or not. Enjoy!
