A friend of mine gave me a Nikon 35MM film camera sometime ago. Last year, before things got a little wiggy, I had purchased some out-of-date film at a local salvage grocery store. I set out to get some captures on film over a period of a few weeks but that stretched into a, oh six to seven months. Here a is some 35MM film.

I am a 59 year old guy who is asking questions about life like "what does it all mean?" and " how come hair will not grow on my head but grows real fast on my ears and back?" you know the deep stuff. I believe in Jesus Christ and that He died for all. The rest I am still working on.

Beautiful photos! Do you do your own developing?
No JF, I used a big-box store’s photo lab but if I get serious with it I will look for a specialized shop for my development. That will be as finances, and The Bride, allows đŸ™‚
Have you ever tried taking the same photo on film and on a digital cam? I would be curious to see the difference.
No I have not but that is a great suggestion! I will have to try that out and post some comparisons…..hopefully it will not take 6-7 months this time.
I miss my 35mm film — but I have to admit to liking instant gratification as well. When I clicked on the post, I was wondering the same thing as Nelson. It would be interesting to view the comparisons.
