I took this photo last March out the window of my ride. I am at the long end of the zoom on my Powershot S3is. Not a great capture but not bad either considering it was the digital end of the zoom .

Late Spring or early Summer last year I was trying out my new-to-me Olympus SP-350. I was, and still am, having a time learning the 350’s sweet spot for macro. Though I am somewhat conformable with the manual settings on this camera, I cannot consistently dial in clear macro shots. With that said I came across this shot of a blooming but not-quite-there Queens Anne Lace. I like it and I hope you do as well.

I took this photo a little over a year ago in December of 11′. As it is often in life I had some decisions to make about big-to-me type issues. This house caught my eye and I had to capture this scene. The weather was cold and gray, just perfect to match my mood, on the day I was passing by this old house.

Today was a wonderfully sunny day but I have been inside most of the day with a sinus headache. After taking a short three or so hour nap, I awoke with just enough energy to snap a few shots of the Daffodils blooming on the hill across from our place. Spring is coming because there are Daffodils on the hill!

I took this picture of from a bouquet of make up flowers. The rainbow rose is not something I had seen before this one. I personally love red roses but dyed roses are pretty cool too. Since I still have no real new opportunity’s for photo ops I decided to try some inside shots. This is one of a few I have taken lately. I have cannot change the weather but I have come to grip with the fact that I will have to try new things to get my click fix. So I here by name this The Rainbow Rose of Reconciliation.
