As I was walking from my car to the house after work today I spied something sitting on the power wire going to our house. I came in a grabbed my Canon Powershot SX10is and took the following shots. I know we have Red-Tailed Hawks, Barred Owls and an occasionally a passing Peregrine Falcon but I cannot identify this raptor. A little help from any birder watchers would be helpful. (Side note: Spell check did not like the way I spelled raptor and changed it to rapture. That is why I need to edit my stuff a little closer).
