Fooling With Light

Last night I was trying to reflect light onto my cat Butterfly’s face, not for fun, but so I could get a few shots of her lovely face. Well let say this I was trying to get her to look up at me and let the light fall naturally upon her but cooperation is not in a cats nature. Since that is the way she rolls I grabbed my windshield sun-deflector and used it to get some light on her face. Thankfully she would look at the deflector and follow it. With one hand a little busy trying to steady the camera and the other light-wrangling the cat here are the results.

Tonight I have something new: An assistant photo editor. Butterfly decided that temperatures in the single digits, or lower, was an OK excuse for letting me kidnap her and bring her inside.Since being inside she has taking over the study or more specific The Bride or my desk. She would occupy both at the same time if she could I assure you…sigh. So meet my assistant photo editor.

Sunday Stills Challenge: Pets

Picture of our cat, Mommy Cat, taken in our front yard. Yes a cat named Mommy Cat, because she brought us many kittens! And one beautiful cat I might add.

Miss Grace, or Grace for short, was rescued by The Bride and I. She was wandering around a very busy intersection that saw a lot of off and incoming Interstate traffic. That is another story in it's self but we gave her to Pops. She landed in a very good place. Cute, Yes?
