I love the contrast between this old but well-kept white door and the even older, and equally well-kept, brick walls. This section is a wing of a house in our town that was built in the 1820’s. I hope you enjoy A Bright White Door Amongst Old Friends!

I have been calling all butterflies that look like Monarchs just that, Monarchs. This year I bought a book about butterflies and discovered something: Viceroys look like Monarchs or vice versa. Nice to know after four plus decades there is a difference! So I ask you my fellow bloggers which is it: A Viceroy or a Monarch?
As I was sitting here shoveling chow down my neck, thinking about my next step in project due tomorrow, I thought looking at some past pics would slow me down and save me heartburn later.
