Berry Unusual
Contrast In B&W
With Winter, and it’s days of gray upon us, I am searching out nuggets of old photo gold in my archives. The following picture is one of many I have rediscovered. I took it on The Bride’s First Anniversary of Her Fortieth Birthday. I hope you appreciate as much as I do the contrast one can find even in B&W photography. Enjoy!
Gazing Globe For Effect
I was reviewing my post this evening when I noticed something: The caption I used to explain the posts title was missing. In my rush to post last night I did not preview, it because Chrome does not allow this for some reason, and I also did not manually save it either. I need try to be more aware of the technologies short comings as well as its many pros. Now to rectify last nights short coming.
I have not had many new photo opportunities lately. I decided I was going to sort through some old shots and A) Post “new” old shots till better conditions arise for me to pursue new photo ops. B) Play with effects more.
The above shot is of the later category. I hope you enjoy it as much I as did slogging through a new adventure in tech for me.
Pops Pooch
The Bride and I went to visit my dad yesterday. As always we are greeted by “The Girls” as we arrive and get some furry face time with them as well. I take as many pictures of them as I can because unlike my cats they will hold still long enough for me to get a few good captures. I took this picture with my Canon PowerShot SX260 HD in Live Mode. I think it is very cool. Enjoy!
Just Waiting On Winter
During a period of under-employment several years back I took on odd jobs to get by. The hottest Summer in our area to-date found me cleaning up a piece of historic property after a historic ice-storm. Laying firewood away for the Winters to come was also on the to-do list. This stack of wood was one of several I had cut and/or gathered up and stacked that Summer.

Goodbye To My Favorite One Stop Photo-Op
There are few things I love to shot: Nature, old vehicles and rusty things. There is only one place I could get all three and now it is gone. Hopefully the old truck is getting a make over and will be back in new clothes.
I was really looking forward to this Spring to see what blooming things popped up around this old truck. But life is ever-changing I will keep my eye out for my next favorite one stop photo-op. Here are several I have taken and posted here from my favorite one stop photo-op. Enjoy My Friends!

One Cool Rat Rod
One From An Old Friend
As some of you may know my beloved Canon Powershot S3is is now deceased. I have purchased a used Canon Powershot SX10is and look forward to the season to come for more photo ops. In the mean time I have been cruising through my old shots to fill the gap till the-things-that-bloom arrive this Spring. Here is one I took with the S3 in the Summer of 2011.Enjoy!
