Well it was taken by a pond and the light was the golden-laced light of dusk. I just felt compelled to find something other than the lovely blues and oranges filling the sky by the setting sun. So here is a B&W of On Golden Pond.

My Bride & I went for a walk after Easter services today and found this hidden garden. I highly recommend walking because I had driven past this place and never noticed this simple treasure. Photo and post process done with and on my iPod Touch.

The sun is out here and temps are perfect but it going to be a lazy Saturday and we are going to enjoy the day.

Paula’s Thursday’s Special:Physical Phenomenon is going to be real simple for me….. for once. Why? Because I love rust( Well at least to look at because working on something rusty can be a major pain). I cannot tell you why but I find rust and rusty things beautiful. So here is a compilation of photos I have taken of rust and rusty things over the life of this blog. I do not think I can fit them all in here but here is to Rust!

I love rusty old things, So every once in while I will shot a few pics of this old cattle gate on our place. The rain makes it look as if the rusty is silently weeping.

Today was a good day to get out and enjoy the wonderful Spring weather. At lunch I grabbed my camera and went for a short walk on a nearby nature trail. I had the pleasure to participate in a photo challenge this week at Paula’s place Lost In Translation. The challenge was in B&W and was titled: Low-Key. Well I was feeling very playful and took a different road to this challenge. Today I decided to use my Sony A37’s shooting mode called Soft Key which was more in line with the challenge but Paula is a gracious host and gave pass on my interpretation. Enough babbling, here are a couple from today’s walk.

With Spring comes the list. You know the one I am talking about, so as a semi-grownup I have to get some things done around our place. Here is my take on this weeks Black & White Sunday at Paula’s place, Lost In Translation. If you have never visited her place I would highly recommend it.

This Winter was not a bad one as Winters go but there was never a week that the sun showed up more than the gray days. So when the sun showed up this evening I headed out with my Sony A37 and an old Vivitar 35mm film lens attached to enjoy it.Here is one from this evening.
