One Into The Setting Sun
One From A Year Past
I took this picture a year ago almost to the day. I was using my dads Fuji FinePix S700 to compare it to my PowerShot S3is. The S3is was the winner for me because of its remarkable versatility and all around solid performance. Now that my S3is is dead I am going to have to borrow pops little shooter for next weekends Cruise downtown. I am hoping I can translate nature shots into some decent pictures of yesterdays muscle cars.
Many Splendors From The Day
First things first: It rained here today! An honest to goodness earth soaking, dust covering rain! That is one splendor from the day but no photos I am afraid. During a break from the rain I happened on an old church off the beaten path on a wisp like tendril of a road. What follows are several shots of the life that still goes on at this boarded up but way cool old church. (Yes I said way cool:)!

The next two are somethings I saw and took a moment to capture for your viewing pleasure.

Two For You
An Atypical Monday

I hope your Monday was a great atypical Monday!
A Friend, A Walk, A Good Time
The Bride and I went for a walk this evening right after a small but unsuccessful rain storm moved through. The storm did bring relief from the heat so I will give it its due for that part of it’s responsibilities.
We walked about and had no other task before us than to enjoy ourselves and that is what we did. Here are a few shots from the walkabout in the windy cool haze of today.

My First Haiku
Heading To A Wedding….
Some Things From The Day

I would loved to had the time to sit here with a very large and cold glass of ice tea.

This little wonder was no more than four inches long. I am surprised my Olympus SP350 was able capture this because of its spot evaluation issues.

A symbol of muscle cars as I remember them! Barely.

Steven Schwartzman, the author of a blog I follow called Portraits of Wildflowers, had posted an amazing shot of this cool little bee that I dig. My Sp350 did a good job of locking in on this shot….till the wind blew. Still like it though.
