A Good Day, A Very Good Day

This being the last day of The Bride and I’s staycation we simply wanted to be. We wanted to be with good friends, eat well and enjoy the day. Well for the record it was a good day, a very good day.

Butterflies enjoy the day by the lake too.

A late afternoon shower left the approaching evening with a hint of coolness to come. Welcome home it seems to be saying.

I am a 57 year old guy who is asking questions about life like "what does it all mean?" and " how come hair will not grow on my head but grows real fast on my ears and back?" you know the deep stuff. I am married and have been for 26 years to the same wonderful woman( read into that: she puts up with me and I married up). I believe in Jesus Christ and that He died for all. The rest I am still working on.

    1. I could have taken a few more of them but I started focusing on a Hummingbird Moth and left them alone. When I got home I did not have one decent shot of the Hummingbird Moth! Win some, lose some 🙂
