One of natures little wonders on our place is the Fleabane. It is a delightful and delicate looking but very tough plant with many blooms. The flowers are made up of small, thin petals of white or pink (Well at least around here they are) and has a yellow center. They can withstand severe dry or heavy unrelenting rains. And they are wonderful little filling stations for pollinators. Some here is some Fleabane love!

Nobody grows the wild fleabane, it grows itself everywhere, but it has a nobler kin, the garden fleabane, which is violet or magenta. I have published photos of both, worth seeing are the violet with dew drops (ask google for “doing things with dew drops”), and the magenta fleabane under hoarfrost, I can’t find the address.
Our place is an unintentional garden: What nature delivers I share in my photos. The Fleabane we have is most assuredly the wild Fleabane. I will try to find the ones you have mentioned as soon as I can.
Don’t feel obligated! And wait with looking for it until October, it is an late autumn flower, it is called in Poland St Martin’s flower (marcinek, 11 November is devoted ti St Martin)
I want to learn more so this information is good. I just have to create the space to research as life allows.Until there time, there is contentment in the knowledge others share. Thanks for yours!
