Since early Spring I have been in running in recovery mode. It is an automated state of being that gets one through a tragedy but at the same time it gives space to a heal from the catastrophic event(s). All through my troubles of last year I have been blessed with understanding, or at least tolerating, people who have helped and encouraged me through dark times. One of those is a couple who have their own set of troubles but have shown me much kindness in spite of their own challenges. They know I like taking pictures and are generous in allowing me to take photos around their place. So here is a belated Thanks for the kind words and prayers.

That is my favorite color rose.
It’s good to have friends to lean on in the tough times.Hope things are getting back to better for you.
Thanks Hippie! Things are getting better including my conscious recognition of those I need to Thank as well as those I owe apologizes to! I was blessed with the opportunity to get one the later done in person today. Good stuff!
Sometimes dark times help us remember to embrace the light when we finally step out of the shadows. We emerge with more appreciation of things that we might have taken for granted. The flowers are lovely and seem to illustrate rebirth. Keep mending. The photos are beautiful, as are your friends.
Thanks for the kind words. I knew in theory how hard that stretch was going to be but I never would have believed how much the kindness others would be extended to us if I hadn’t been there.
I have always looked at life like a Garden and great Friends add so much color to ones Garden of Life.
I want you to know sometimes I dropped by your blog to get a visually and mental taste of color during the past Winter. I felt better seeing color and sunshine when we had little of it here!
thank you! i’m glad that the images of color and of pristine life gave you comfort. you’re wise to seek out whatever it takes to help you through those difficult times.
i’ve had my share of disappointments and grief, and when we finally get past them, wow, we’re really strong people!
Never stop reaching out to people in times of stress and sadness. I’m sorry that you’ve been going through a dark time, but I’m relieved to hear that you have a good support system. I hope all will be well soon. Lovely photos to remind us of the beauty that surrounds us even in the saddest of times.
I am just now seeing how much support I had! It was unbelievable how those I was there to serve actually served me.
Thanks for the kind words.
