A Walkabout At The Lake

According to a little research, the top picture the bloom of a tree commonly known as a tulip or yellow poplar, also known simply as the American tulip tree. It is the tallest Eastern hardwood and a major honey plant, the nectar is produced in the orange parts of the flowers.
