Have you ever taken a shot for one reason but once you study it you see it for something entirely different? I saw this old house and thought what stories could this house tell if could only do so. What I saw after I downloaded it was something quite different. As I scrutinized my capture I noticed the trees and vines around the house and how them seemed to embrace it. It appeared as if the trees were reclaiming one of their own: “Welcome Home Our Brother” Says the trees.

Why this beautiful house is abandoned when someone shot it stunningly ? …..
This house is located in an area that was a big farming area for most of the 1900’s. There were both cattle, milk cows and tabaco and corn farms. As corporations pushed for more profits in the 1980’s and 1990’s they bought “cheaper” products over-seas and down in South America. As the farms died, homes were lost or abandon, in the decline of need for their products. I have seen hundreds of such scenes over the years and feel a haunting in my soul every time.
Oh I see. If I were there, I would have like to walk around it more closer for some night pictures, especially during the full moon. That would have been so good.
