A Couple Of Almost Right In-Flight

The Bride and I were at the lake again yesterday. I was hoping to get a few shots of ducks in-flight. I had to find a place were the sun was advantages to such shots. We found the area where the lighting was not great but it was about the only place we could get to. Then there is the foliage : There were just small gaps in the bushes and small trees to get a shot in. But the biggest challenge was the fifteen to twenty-mile an hour winds. Ducks can carry a  serious amount of velocity with a tail wind! As we waited The bride pointed out a pair of Crows looking for food. Crows are cool.

I had a difficult time getting decent shots but I think next time out I will move a picnic table closes to the edge so I can get above some of the foliage issues. I have nothing in my bag of tricks for the wind thought! So I present a couple of almost right in flight shots.
