In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Door.”

I started a fundraiser through YouCaring for The Bride and myself. I will keep this short, and if you want too, you can read the story behind it under the menu: The Brides Fundraiser. She is a nursing student and I promised her she would not have to work till she graduates with her Associates in Nursing. This fundraiser is one of the things I am doing to help her through this year and I am working on a website for next years needs as well. I have been working on a project the last few days and am late in joining the fun. I will tell you in a few days what the project was, and is, but you can take a sneak-peek at it by looking at the link in the menu The Bride’s Fundraiser. Till then let’s get back to Paula’s Guest Photo challenge. I love the idea of this post but find it hard to tell stories through photos involving people. Several years back I was the second gun at a wedding. My job was to get the casual or unique shots. One series of shots I got consisted of me following the Bride and the Bride’s Maids as they were photographed at several locations by the wedding photographer. In the process I came across these two young ladies and watched them watching the whole thing. These photos I took in between sets and it took a bit but they warmed up to being photographed from the first till the last one.I feel these maybe my best series of captures ever. I still smile when I see them and hope you like them as well.

I used my Sony A300 with an old 35mm Sigma telephoto/macro lense on this capture. It makes my heart glad to see the Buttonbushes blooming on our place and the pollinators are glad as well!
