Black & White Sunday: How to Tell A Story Through B&W Photography

I have been working on a project the last few days and am late in joining the fun. I will tell you in a few days what the project was, and is, but you can take a sneak-peek at it by looking at the link in the menu The Bride’s Fundraiser. Till then let’s get back to Paula’s Guest Photo challenge. I love the idea of this post but find it hard to tell stories through photos involving people. Several years back I was the second gun at a wedding. My job was to get the casual or unique shots. One series of shots I got consisted of me following the Bride and the Bride’s Maids as they were photographed at several locations by the wedding photographer. In the process I came across these two young ladies and watched them watching the whole thing. These photos I took in between sets and it took a bit but they warmed up to being photographed from the first till the last one.I feel these maybe my best series of captures ever. I still smile when I see them and hope you like them as well.

I am a 59 year old guy who is asking questions about life like "what does it all mean?" and " how come hair will not grow on my head but grows real fast on my ears and back?" you know the deep stuff. I believe in Jesus Christ and that He died for all. The rest I am still working on.

  1. This photo is epic 😀 I love it! These ladies look like bridesmaids themselves. Gorgeous faces, but most precious are their expressions 🙂
