A Study In B&W: Picture of the Day Part III

I took the following picture with The Brides Minolta X-370 35MM camera. I love using B&W film but I can tell you it is a hard medium to learn. As time and money allows I hope to study it more in-depth. Until the next time Enjoy!

A Study In B&W: Picture of the Day

Over the next week or so I will be posting pictures I have shot in B&W. They  are in a way a reflection of my state of being at this time. Besides my attempts lately, of the remaining flowers and foliage, have been pretty pathetic. I am rushing my shots and cannot seem to focus due to life’s little storms that have settled in over me at this time.

Till the storms part: Enjoy!

Autumns Feast

Autumn is a time where things fade and wither as the long winters sleep approaches. Till then nature recycles and replenishes it’s self. Below is a pictures of one example of this process. See one of natures Autumn Feasts. Enjoy!

As a bee harvests the last of this flowers pollen, a Cucumber Beetle enjoys the remaining petals. Nature’s Autumn juice and salad bar!

My Number One Photo Nemesis: The Color Red

My point and shots and I have a hard time taking great pictures of anything Red. I understand it has something to do with how digital sensors receive and interpret the color Red. I still feel I should be able to figure out how to take great pictures of natures Reds.

Until then these few will have to do!. Enjoy!

Flavors of Early Autumn

Not quite Summer. Not quite Winter. Just about perfect if you ask me. Here are three from this early part of Autumn. Enjoy!

There are blooming things and the green stuff is with us still…….

…..the days are cool, crisp and bright more than not. The clouds, of every shape and size, are a delight…..

… and the leaves both high and low are wonderful to behold!
