My main ride, better known as Spartacus to me and My Bride, has once again let know it is indifferent to my prayers of at least one month of trouble free usage. After sharing a ride with My Bride for the last 6 days I was able to make the time to use my shade-tree mechanic skills and fix the problem. It seems someone in the timeline of my cars existence, known to me and mine as BM (before me) and yes the acronym is not lost on us, decided to do a repair to the battery cables by cutting a few corners. Instead of replacing the positive cable as the should have they rigged it for a lack of a better term. I replaced it with a sealed cable and terminal. After a short test drive with Teddy riding shotgun it stared back up with no problems.
On the upside My Bride has cleared two very important hurdles in her last semester of nursing school. Oh, and she survived her 30th class reunion. And there has been a black bear on our place enjoying the yellow jacket nest on the upper part of our yard. Also Teddy the Rescue Corgi is allowing himself to Love both of us and after seven years in another place this one is is home. Till the next time. Peace~John
