The weekend was a blur and I wasn’t sure I could slow it down enough to participate in Paula’s latest challenge. As it turns out I did not have to search very far for the shots I am using here. The photos of the cars I took Saturday night at a new cruise in our little town. I used my Sony A3000 set on a high contrast B&W setting in these captures. Still not confident enough to go fully manual in this setting but will try it soon. As far as the Sunrise pic goes I shot it with the A3000 using a old film lense and converted it to B&W in post-editing. The theme is convergence and I feel the reflections on the car’s surface fits the bill here. As for the Sunrise I just feel it works. I have words but the picture does a better job than I can at this time of night 😉
Great car and reflections. Looks very good in B&W.
Wonderful. This is some of your best work, John. I am so happy to see them turn out so well. Wow! And thank you 🙂
My pleasure Paula and I am glad you like them!
so good in B&W. great angle.
Thanks!
I worked around a bit before I got these twos. You should see the looks I get trying to get the shot I want but kind comments makes it worth it.~John
