I am still having a blast using my old lenses on my Sony A3000. The downside to using the A3000 is the electronic viewfinder is not good at its job. he camera is great in AF focusing but the image is through the viewfinder is electronically transmitted not reflected by a mirror.Sony made a great little camera when it made the A3000 but it is a budget camera and one of the downsize is a less than stellar viewfinder. The challenge using a manual focus lens it to know when the subject is actually in focus with this camera. That being said, it is the only caveat if you are considering this camera. Still it has not stopped me from enjoying my old lenses. Here is one taken with an old Nikon 50mm f2.8 lens using the A3000’s on-board B&W with contrast mode.
