My neighbor used to run a few head of cattle and a few donkeys on out place. This photo is of the leader of the donkeys whom we called The Old Man. He watched over the others and was the sire of two while he was here. One day I came home and the donkeys were going. My neighbor had sold them and moved on to other things but apparently I haven’t because I miss them donkeys. Read about them here if you want.

I am a 57 year old guy who is asking questions about life like "what does it all mean?" and " how come hair will not grow on my head but grows real fast on my ears and back?" you know the deep stuff. I am married and have been for 26 years to the same wonderful woman( read into that: she puts up with me and I married up). I believe in Jesus Christ and that He died for all. The rest I am still working on.

What a wonderful capture! Sorry they’re gone.
There was a guy in our town who had a herd of miniature donkeys – they marched in the 2009 Rose Bowl Parade. They’ve been in our town for years. Now they are gone; their owner passed away. I miss them. We would see them on our way to grocery shop.
When I would get home from work they would come over to see me. I am glad I got to have that experience but I do miss em.
