This weeks Black & White Sunday @ Paula’s place, Lost In Translation, is a bit of a challenge for me. Winding seems simple enough but there is not a whole lot of winding things here that I can think of. So I decided to use a couple of shots I took in the near past.
The first is one I took of a bonfire. Theoretically I can say the fire winds its way around the wood to gather oxygen to fuel the fire.
The second one I took today of a sweat bee on a dandelion out by a friends small lake/large pond. The sweat bee is winding its way around the curved petals of the dandelion as they reach for the sun and wind back towards the earth………
Yes, two clever examples, nicely executed. I am much obliged, John 🙂
My pleasure as always. Thanks for letting me stretch the meaning of winding a little bit as well!
we should always stretch – finding new meanings is what my blog is all about 🙂
how clever of you to think of a fire. that is a great shot.
Thanks and I am glad you like it.
I really like those flames.
Thanks!
Took quite a few shots to dial that one in and it is close to what I wanted. Wish the flames were more defined but none the less I like it a lot too.
