Since my iPod died several months back I have missed having a convenient, compact carry-around camera. I tried to have the iPod repaired a few weeks back but it’s (officially) dead Jim. So when I found this Canon PowerShot SD1300 IS for sale in a thrift shop I bought it. Here are a few from last night and today at the Lake with My Bride.

I am a 59 year old guy who is asking questions about life like "what does it all mean?" and " how come hair will not grow on my head but grows real fast on my ears and back?" you know the deep stuff. I believe in Jesus Christ and that He died for all. The rest I am still working on.

Wonderful photos, don’t you agree? I love my Canon.
I have switched to Sony DSLR’s as my to-the-next-level cameras but nobody does walk around everyday cameras like Canon. The camera that started all this madness was a 35mm Canon SureShot point-shot back in 1978 that my folks gifted me with. My re-entry into photography after a decade-plus layoff was a Canon PowerShot S3is…I will always love that camera.
Thanks for the comment and kind words~ John
