Thursday’s Special: Traces of the Past 02

This old barn sets by the road I have traveled on daily for a decade and a half. It was used for a while to store farm equipment but hasn’t been used for much in many years. The old house sets by the barn but slightly closer to the road. I can imagine back when these two buildings were built the road was more than likely dirt. The old road once was the main thoroughfare through the state. In the early 1900’s it was paved, and joined with other roads, to connect the Southern States with the Urban north.

I am a 59 year old guy who is asking questions about life like "what does it all mean?" and " how come hair will not grow on my head but grows real fast on my ears and back?" you know the deep stuff. I believe in Jesus Christ and that He died for all. The rest I am still working on.

  1. Of course it is old :), you can even post something from a few years back – it is all the matter of interpretation. I love photos of old barns, John and these two do not disappoint. Thank you very much. I hope you are feeling better every day. Best, Paula
