The Bride and I visited Bardstown, Ky a few weeks back and I wanted to post these pics sooner but decided to wait till after the Holidays to do so. I simply did not want to bum anyone out at what should be an upbeat time of year. I took both photos with my Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS1. The top one was these random flowers laying on the wall of what may have been a crypt covering these unmarked tombs. The second photo I used a pin-hole camera effect within the Lumix to give it a look more reminiscent of period early in the area’s history.
Bravo! That’s what an artist is supposed to do – find beauty in most unlikely places.
Sometimes one has to look very hard to find it but I believe beauty can be found almost anywhere.
