These doors are old and are on the backside of an old jail in Bardstown, Ky. The original jail was built in 1819 with an addition built in 1874. This wall and doors were part of the 1874 build if I am not mistaken. So in my opinion that makes them pretty old doors.

I am a 59 year old guy who is asking questions about life like "what does it all mean?" and " how come hair will not grow on my head but grows real fast on my ears and back?" you know the deep stuff. I believe in Jesus Christ and that He died for all. The rest I am still working on.

It really looks so old. nice capture, my friend.
Old only by American standards š Thank you for the kind comment.
Wonderful patina on those doors! How neat that the old place is still standing.

Lindy, It was still being used as a jail up till 1987 but now is a B&B.~ John
Well now, how cool is that, that it is being used as a B&B! As for being used as a jail until the late 1980s, I’ll bet it wasn’t so nice!
