I for one miss seeing the caboose go by when a train pass through town. I also find it ironic that most end up being displayed right next the tracks they mostly likely ran on. I guess if you cannot be there it is nice to be close to home.

Not a problem to get close since this one retired at the warehouses it used to serve. And those are right by the tracks as well.
