One of the great things about blogging is I get to see into others world and cultures. I love the way others shares as well. As I was checking out a site from Indonesia I was observing some lizards he had photographed. We have five-lined skinks on our place and was telling him about them. He ask me to post some when I got a capture or two of them. So this one for you, pliesbilongtumi , one of our mini-dragons 🙂
I just rescued one of those from a spider web yesterday. How the heck did you get that to stay still long enough to get a photo?
Short answer: I don’t know. Long answer: We had a gully washer last night and there were several out and about this morning. I do not know if it was related but they seemed to be trying to dry out in the morning sun. The other two took off but this one must have missed the memo, or hadn’t had his second cup of whatever coldblooded creatures drink for breakfast, and just kind of meandered away at a very leisurely pace!
Shorter answer: I got lucky.
Wow, what a gorgeous colour in his (her?) tail!
It is a striking color isn’t it?
Amazing! The combination of colors in such a small creature – so beautiful! 🙂
Thank you for sharing the a lovely shot, Jagged. It has very beautiful colors on the tail. Just great.
I am glad you like it. I think it was worth the two or so month wait to get the shot 🙂
It is really rewarding, Jagged. 🙂
