Well, um, actually the day greeted this Queens Anne’s Lace I found up the road from our place. I also discovered it is also called the Wild Carrot and the modern carrot we eat today was more than likely cultivated from this plant. Yes you can eat the tap-root but I am not sure about the rest of the plant. Just a bit of nature trivia to start your day and may it be a great one!

Just beautiful! One of my favorite flowers.
I have seen them all about for years but just recently took notice to how awesome they truly are.
I am glad you stopped by and I hope you have a wonderfully productive Spring and Summer. Miss seeing what is going on at The Gardens but i know it make hay while the sun is shining time.Maybe you will grow another set of arms and get to post again! 🙂
I haven’t seen queen anne’s lace in a very long time. The photo is great, as is the theme you’re using, though it’s too bad there’s not a ‘like’ option near all of those thumbnail options. It’s great to be able to scroll up and down the page and see so many of your posts.

Thanks! I am trying out new themes and with this one you ave to get on each individual post to get to the like button. The thing I like about this theme is what you mentioned: You can scroll up and down and see all those separate posts. Thanks for stopping by and I digging all the colors you use in your art work.
yes, the at-a-glance option is really nice. maybe they will tweak the options and grant you the ‘like’ option!
