Goodbye To My Favorite One Stop Photo-Op

There are few things I love to shot: Nature, old vehicles and rusty things. There is only one place I could get all three and now it is gone. Hopefully the old truck is getting a make over and will be back in new clothes.

I was really looking forward to this Spring to see what blooming things popped up around this old truck. But life is ever-changing I will keep my eye out for my next favorite one stop photo-op. Here are several I have taken and posted here from my favorite one stop photo-op. Enjoy My Friends!

I am a 61 year old guy who is asking questions about life like "what does it all mean?" and " how come hair will not grow on my head but grows real fast on my ears and back?" you know the deep stuff. I believe in Jesus Christ and that He died for all. The rest I am still working on.

  1. oh, that’s a shame! there was an awesome rusted out corvair downtown a while back that i used for several shoots. they finally towed it away–i was heartbroken. 🙂

    1. For “normal people” it is hard to understand what this mean to us photographers. So when you said heartbroken I think that summed up how I felt when I noticed it gone this week.
Now I am motivated to find another cool spot.Let the hunt begin….when the weather gets warmer! 🙂

  2. Sad that it’s gone, but you’ll have new adventures locating another. Love that vibrant daylily against the teal/green and rust- a print of that would look amazing against a red brick wall like the one I have at our Cottage guest house……just sayin’ that’s all! 🙂

    1. I look for such contrast in those rare places where nature and old rusty things coexist. It is like a dance between two opposite yet somehow similar worlds and beauty abounds non e the less.
