Because of the much-needed rain showing up this weekend I have not taken but a few shots since last week late. So here are three of one of my favorite subjects while I am on rain delay! The top and bottom I took with my Minolta 35mm film camera in the morning one weekend. The middle with my beloved, and no longer working, Canon PowerShot S3is at dusk.

I am a 57 year old guy who is asking questions about life like "what does it all mean?" and " how come hair will not grow on my head but grows real fast on my ears and back?" you know the deep stuff. I am married and have been for 26 years to the same wonderful woman( read into that: she puts up with me and I married up). I believe in Jesus Christ and that He died for all. The rest I am still working on.

We’re having thunderstorms at the moment… hope I get through all my e-mail before we lose power… That female malard is a stunner! The others remind me of a painting John did where the water was so real looking litle kids thought they could get wet. One Dad at an outdoor show had to tell his toddler it was a painting! Happy memories…
Thank you! Something about the light at dusk is magical.
The Bide and I just got home from supper out and there is a flash flood warning out. It felt as if the car was hydroplaning more than not!
I’m glad you got home safe. I hydroplaned one morning on the way to work years ago… it’s a good thing there were no cars coming the other way because I had no control of the car at all till the tires began to grip again.
