Why am I awake? Because I thought a little nap was what I needed after supper this evening, er last evening. Unfortunately it was an hour and a half “nap” so as Yoda would say ” Awake , I am, hum” or something along that line. So post I will! Here is a picture I took recently of a church off a back road’s back road.

I’m afraid I fell asleep for a couple of hours after dinner too tonight. Hope I’m not up all night. It’s getting hot and muggy here today and it sort of makes one drouzy. Very interesting photo… It looks like an old Church where the town grew up somewhere else.
This church is at least thirteen miles from what could be called a town. The area used to be a big farming area so it was probably the place to meet, greet, worship, marry and bury back in it’s day. It feels old but looks well preserved.
I hope to sleep well because I forced myself not to lay down even to, as the saying goes, rest me eyes.
Pleasant dreams! This Church looks similar to one that comes from the 17th century around here… The one around here is well kept too.
