Seven Day Photo Challenge: Day 3

Seven Day Photo Challenge: Day 2
Though the rules of this challenge states I am to invite someone to join this challenge everyday, I do not feel like it today. Maybe not even tomorrow. Instead I am inviting everyone to understand time is fleeting, as demonstrated by the scenes I have watched played out of the inexcusable act one human visited on his fellow humankind. Today is a gift, embrace it.

Seven Day Photo Challenge: Day 1

The challenge is one black and white photo from your own life each day for seven days. No people depicted, no words of explanation. Invite one other person to join each day. Today I nominate Steve @ Photography by Steve daPonte.
Patience Is A Virtue
My Bride meet her Preceptor in Nursing this morning to go over goals, expectations and her schedule. Me? All I had planned to do was to sleep in, go to the Farmers Market and buy fresh beets. With that done by 9AM I stopped by our local Arboretum and Botanical garden. The main focus of this garden was more trees and such until 18 or so months ago. The city deiced to hire someone to add color to the greens-pace and what they got was a pair of superheroes. They have completely transformed this small but wonderful place into a sanctuary for me and others. Their vision is just now taking flight and I am grateful. Patience is a virtue after all. Below is a photo I took today and it is unedited. Nature rules! Peace~John

A Butterfly On The Fly
My day job has me worn out more than usual lately, and this in-turn has been cutting into my photo taking time. Yesterday I had the opportunity to help my place of employment pick up some donated items. We got there a little early so I took a few shots of the wonderful flower garden on the grounds. Here is one of those shots.
