The Bride successfully finished her first semester of nursing school this week. It was one hell of a ride and now we are taking a bit of time to slow down and breath. So for the next three or so weeks post will be sporadic and we will be figuring out how to survive the next chapter. Till the next time.

I have an old blog I have left unattended and somewhat abandoned. The time for writing passed for a season and soon I will do so again but photography anchored my life and my post here is blogdom. So here is one from the old place.
I used an old 35mm film lense, attached to me Sony A300 with an adapter and extension tubes, in pursuit of macro captures. Here are the only two keepers as I had problems adjusting to the shifting light and not so accurate reading by the cameras light meter.
The moon was just a night cap to a very busy, aggravating and wondrous day. Enjoy!
I took the original photo two days ago and posted it. Tonight I played around with it in effects and this is the one I like.
