I had another test done today, and hopefully it will show I am healing well and can go back to work soon. I decided to take my Nikon D60 and head to the lake afterwords so I could get in a little walking and take some fresh snaps. I bought the camera several years back but I have never really come to grip with its abilities and it’s quirks. So today  I keep it simple and just kind of set out to enjoy the day and the moment first, then if things went well on the photo end that would just enhance the day. I used an old 28-80mm film lens on some of these and the kit 55-200mm attached to a Promaster 1.7x teleconverter on the rest. Don’t ask me which is which because, like I said, I was just enjoying the day.

My Silver Tabby

I slept 12 hours last night and took what was a planned 1 hour nap this afternoon. Four hours later I got up and had a simple dinner and some quality time with The Bride on our porch. Closing out the night I updated my computer under the stink-eye watchful eye of my silver tabby Butterfly. Now for another night of great rest.
