American Muscle In HDR
The day before I went into the hospital last month I was doing some of the things I enjoy the most: Enjoying the great outdoors, checking out old cars and trucks and taking snaps. I came across these photos as I was downloading shots off my Sony A3000. All the photos are in HDR and were processed in-camera by its on-board HDR setting. So here are a few from that day.
Samuel K. Dunlap: Potraits & Fine Art
As some of you may know I am a fan of Art,Music and Theater, among other things, but these three rate pretty high up there among the things I love. I introduced ya’ll to The Art Gypsy sometime back and that is where I meet, at least officially, Samuel K. Dunlap. His works are hard to define because he does not let himself be hemmed into anyone style or medium. My favorite pieces are some of his smallest works and the canvas is not what you would find at any art supply story. These wonderful little works are painted on wood match boxes. Pretty cool and I would assume also a challenge to do. Here is a photo I took of these wonderful little works of art from Samuel K. Dunlap Portraits & Fine Art.
The Making Of Street Art In B&W
I decided to take a few shot of yesterdays street art festival in B&W. The artist works are wonderful and colorful and as you would suspect with something so colorful one would photograph them that way. I did a lot of color shots too but everyone posts that to their FB or blogs so I wanted to look at things a little different this year. Here are a few of the making of street art in B&W.
A Couple From The Day
The Bride and I spent most of the day today at a street art festival. I will post some of the art work later but I am starting to feel the day and cannot decide which ones I want to post. So here is a non-art capture I like just because.
And here is one I like because I just love that face! Not my dog but none the less he is adorable and well-behaved, as most responsibly owned dogs are.

Living is a choice. Simple concept in theory but sometimes it is hard to do. For some the effort to make that choice seems out of their grasps. I have hope, faith, love and a million other reasons to choose life. There are some of us who do not have these things or cannot see them right now for many reasons. When this happens we must reach out and let others help us. In this Holiday season, where we should be thankful and giving, please…
