My Best Of The Super Blood Moon and Lunar Eclispe

I spent a lovely nigh out last night, even while waiting on the clouds to cooperate and leave the area. I had everything set up, battery charged on my camera and cat in lap as I set about the waiting game. The clouds did eventually break up long enough for full enjoyment of the “blood” phase, I know that is not its technical name, and just the last part of the total eclipse. It was nice to watch something larger than all of us played out on such a wonderful night. As I started to take a few dial-in shots, my camera’s supposedly fully charge battery failed. Well I went in and grabbed my Sony A37 and went about learning on the fly almost all its manual adjustments in one setting! With that as a back drop: I have several big events coming up in the next week to one in a few months. It was nice to see how truly small those things are in the face of the sky. Here my best of the Super Blood Moon and lunar eclipse.
