Roadside Flowers In B&W
Looking for a different look I decided to use a free photo software, Perfect Effects Free9 by on1, for the transformation from color to B&W on this photo. I also hope to get a few more “To Do” items out of the way this weekend, in the hope that I can get a project I am looking forward to moving, well any direction would be good.

Pocket Change

Several days ago I liked a post at spanishwoods titled “Old Things That I Like. I was inspired by the post as there is many old things I like but Life ( broken lawnmower, broken car, broken but now fixed ceiling fan and working on a gift to surprise my Bride for her Birthday this week. Oh and work, yeah work) plus investing in some software I hope will help me develop a new look to some of my stuff, has me sidelining that project to next week. Till then here is a creative piece I am calling pocket change….change is good.

Art After Dark
One of our favorite places to be us and enjoy art closed down last year. We had bought several pieces from her and I purchased a piece done by Judith Egerton for our 20th wedding anniversary. My Bride and I loved the place and the owner, so we took her closing personal. Last month Wild Earth Gallery re-opened in a smaller but not less stellar location. It made me and My Bride glad to see our friend doing what she loves most: Promoting and creating art. Here are a couple of photos I took after she closed or put another way “Art After Dark”.

One From The Day
Lawnmower broke beyond repair, ceiling fan part no longer available and my repair to speed up a slowwwwww filling gas tank only marginally successful. So what to do? Go hang with My Bride at a BBQ, Blues and Bikes festival that’s what! Saw some old friends made a few new acquaintances and enjoy good music, BBQ and saw a lot of bikes. Here is one from the day.

Thursday’s Special:Glow
With my A37 out of commission till I can get what I need to clean the sensor, I am relying on past photos for my place here in blogdom. So for Paula’s Thursday’s Special:Glow I am using one I took with my little Canon SD300 a couple years back. This sign was displayed at our booth at a local eatery and we found it to be good advise to live by.
