As I arrived home this evening the SUV I was behind slowed down to a crawl on our corner. Now I do not get mad, though I am surprised, when folks slow down on this corned because four or five have not and ended up in our yard. What happened after the SUV started to take off on the small straight in front of our house did surprises me: These two young bucks were just standing in our yard. Nice! I took this with my Canon PowerShot SX260HS.
The world about us was going mad yet this note, written by my Bride in the breath that is in between breaths of my Brides and my reality, means a lot. Love is a big deal. It really is but until we can accept it, well that is another story all together. Please feel free to finish the story in the comment section.
One thing the heat brings around our place is a lot of Dragonflies. With that comes a nice mildly furnace like breeze and taking pics of the Dragonflies ca be somewhat challenging. Keeping one in-frame is the big challenge as they tend to land on foligae that moves with the breeze. Here is one I took with my Sony A37 and an old mostly-busted Sigma 70-300mm film lens.
The heat index today is 103 degrees, per the local weather app but this little beauty does not seem to care. If you have to be out and about stay hydrated and be cool!
The Wildflower garden on our place is our first garden ever. Next year we hope to add two or three more to help our best friends, the pollinators. Here is a picture I took with my iPod 6th Gen Touch. Post editing was done with Photogene4 and BeFunky.
