In early the early months of 2013 I purchased a Nikon D60. My Mom had just passed away a month or two before and I thought this would help me in my grieving process as photography is therapeutic for me. I was using a point & shot Canon PowerShot SX10is as my daily shooter. I was familiar with the Canon but wanted to” up my game” but I could not wrap my mind around DSLR’s and this camera set in my office for the rest of the Winter and early Spring. After sitting a couple months I got the D60 out.This is one of the first captures I took using the D60 almost four years ago to this day.

WordPress informed me today that I have 500 followers here at  Daffodil Hill Photography. Though that is awesome I think this guys is more so!  Also Thank You for letting me into your world and I will share mine as long as I can. Peace~John

 

The camp chair on our front porch is once again my favorite spot most mornings. This week as I was waiting on an insurance adjuster this Bumblebee to a liking the chair as well. I used my iPod 6th Gen Touch and Pixlr for the post photo-editing.

In between repairs to the dryer, and enjoying my Morning Joe on the front porch, this lovely shows up. Was getting a little worried since I not seen as many as in years past but I am glad they’re back.
