The last few days have had me with little sleep and The Bride with the flu. With that combo I have not been able to pursue a few things I have wanted to. That is Life 101 and I understand that but in those times I have been blessed with the ability to appreciate the little things. Yesterday, on my way in from the car to our home after work, I saw this little flower among the ruins of what was once our driveway. The last two Winters has ravaged it to nothing but a muddy mess. Yet right there among the mess is this beautiful little flower. I used my Wedding band as a gauge so one can see how small this flower is. Among the storms of life take time to look for and enjoy the little things.

Last night we slept better and she is trying to keep as much of a normal sleep cycle as possible. She feels bad but not as bad as she would have if she had NOT gotten a flu shot.
