I know am not alone in this but when I look at old rusting and rusty things I see beauty. I sense the story that time has etched upon such things. I see life though I do know nothing last forever. So to honor that story I shot a series of photo of rusty old things on our place.
And now I present to you Rust At Dusk!
This an old fence line on our place. At one time it held within its arms a small herd of cattle. Later a small band of wonderfully delightful donkeys kept it company.A close up of one the post who watched over our place and it’s visitors.A hinge on the old barn on our place.
I am a 61 year old guy who is asking questions about life like "what does it all mean?" and " how come hair will not grow on my head but grows real fast on my ears and back?" you know the deep stuff. I believe in Jesus Christ and that He died for all. The rest I am still working on.

The three photos are beautiful rusty pieces-my favorite! Love the combination of the old gray weathered grain of the wood and the thin stems and leaves of that beautiful fall colored grass with that big heavy hinge, it sings for me! Wow!
I think they are pretty cool myself…..but I am a little biased, no? Seriously I shoot what I like and hope others like it as well because sharing is what its all about.
