As Autumn approaches us here in the Northern hemisphere things fade in the season I called once The Season That Falls Into Night. So I expect those who are now in their spring and soon to come summer seasons to keeps us splashed with colors and blue skies till next year. Here are two pictures of things on their way out till next Spring. Enjoy!
This Monarch Butterfly is getting some fuel for it’s incredible journey to it’s Winter home. The New England Asters seem to be hanging on just for this reason. These small White Wood Asters are hanging out on a fence roll on our place. I have several spots where they are plentiful and they draw a lovely variety of pollinators. Even as their petals start to fade there is usually, in the warm part of the day, several varieties of bees, moths and such around these beautiful flowers.
I am a 61 year old guy who is asking questions about life like "what does it all mean?" and " how come hair will not grow on my head but grows real fast on my ears and back?" you know the deep stuff. I believe in Jesus Christ and that He died for all. The rest I am still working on.

Love those asters, we have many still going strong too.
