Many Splendors From The Day

First things first: It rained here today! An honest to goodness earth soaking, dust covering rain! That is one splendor from the day but no photos I am afraid. During a break from the rain I happened on an old church off the beaten path on a wisp like tendril of a road. What follows are several shots of the life that still goes on at this boarded up but way cool old church. (Yes I said way cool:)!

Though the light is low I love the diverging colors, angles and shapes going on here.( I first typed angels instead of angles but who knows……) Taken with my SP350 Olympus
This one has a lot going on in the background. Taken with my PowerShot G3
This is what is going on inside the colors and angles of this place: A thriving Eco system living and working unseen by those passing by. Taken with my G3
This is the old church in B&W. Photo was taken with my G3

The next two are somethings I saw and took a moment to capture for your viewing pleasure.

A doe and her fawns hanging out in an adjoining yard of a home I made a stop at.
Something I have not seen lately: A rain drop!

I am a 61 year old guy who is asking questions about life like "what does it all mean?" and " how come hair will not grow on my head but grows real fast on my ears and back?" you know the deep stuff. I believe in Jesus Christ and that He died for all. The rest I am still working on.

  1. Wonderful collection here… so glad you had rain. So glad we’ve had some dry weather for a change although it is getting pretty hot and muggy.

    1. Oh no not muggy! We have had too much of that here. If I am going to wear my weather i want it to rain or snow!

      1. Me too. I can’t breathe when it’s hot and muggy.. so I’ll be stuck in an a/c for a while.
