Some Things From The Day

A lovely place to sit.

I would loved to had the time to sit here with a very large and cold glass of ice tea.

A Damselfly

This little wonder was no more than four inches long. I am surprised my Olympus SP350 was able capture this because of its spot evaluation issues.

Old metal made new again!

A symbol of muscle cars as I remember them! Barely.

Augochloropsis metallica: cool name even cooler bee!

Steven Schwartzman, the author of a blog I follow called Portraits of Wildflowers, had posted an amazing shot of this cool little bee that I dig. My Sp350 did a good job of locking in on this shot….till the wind blew. Still like it though.

I am a 61 year old guy who is asking questions about life like "what does it all mean?" and " how come hair will not grow on my head but grows real fast on my ears and back?" you know the deep stuff. I believe in Jesus Christ and that He died for all. The rest I am still working on.

  1. John love the pics. Betty got one of those cameras it seems real good I just haven’t got out there yet. Thanks for telling me about it.

  2. I’ll tell you that sitting place in the shade looks mighty cool to me… I’m wondering though, knowing where you are posting from if it really is cool there…. Hopefully this heat wave will be gone soon. Still it does look cool and restful there… 🙂

    1. I will admit it was really hot but I love ice cold sweet tea. It does wonders for me…..till it is gone! This place was off the main road, then you turned off that road till you got here. Very restful indeed.
