Yes, the petals do seem to catch the light as if starred. My camera won’t come in that close…it starts to blur…. although I did get a fairly close photo of a yellow squash blossom…

This was taken with my old Nikon CoolPix 4600. It had a macro setting that was pretty amazing. It also is greatly missed since dead last fall.
